I'm with this statement. I'm sure you're well beyond the design limits of stock motor mounts? What happens if one of these lets go during a run. I broke one once in my grandmothers 1973 dodge polaris. The whold damn motor and trans torqued up, dented the hood and then slammed back down hard enough to rock the car when I let off of it. Scared the **** out of me... Can't imagine what a high power motor mount break would do.

the way the stock mounts are built they cant come apart. i am a little worried about a starp puting too much stress on whatever bolt hole i use to hook it to. i would be taking all the stress that now goes to 4 beefy motor mount bolts(with extra casting on the block), to one bolt some place on the front of the block? doesn't make all that much sence to me.

i can see how it would help the wg/header live longer but i just need the correct header for that and that wont be a problem anymore.

I wish the 8.1 motor mounts where like that. When I pulled the engine out my truck the driver side was riped in two. It did have a interlocking plate to keep the engine jumping around but it still pulled the rubber in two
