Default so i called jesse today (w4me)

i told him that i wanted to put a shift kit in and have him lower the pressure back to stock, he laughed and said oh and what do u think the shift kit does any better? he also said something about when i add the lts ory that it will gain me 8whp but after he tunes it it will be like 30whp increase..i asked him to take out a lil more tm.. he says it does nothing for performance. except blow ur tranny..

what do u guys think about that?

I think you should call Wheatley!
Trust me!!
www.gowheatley.com

Torque management retards timing, Timing = Power
Power+ Heat = 60e's

Get a big tranny cooler, the stock 60e just isnt made to be abused.

From the looks of it you already have a W4M tune?

to an extent he is right. There was a member on here that acutally gaind 3 rwhp between back to back dyno runs when he went from 0% torque management back down to 20%

i know hes an idiot he says it does nothing and without it ur trans will blow. he says the shift kit is the same thing as him raising the pressure in the lines. i just called wheatley and left him a message. i told him about what jesse said. i want one of his tunes.. but i cant come up with the 250 right now. im keeping w4m for now until full bolt ons and everything i said in the last post.

one question tho.. how hard/expensive is milling the heads?

From what i gather HARD NECK snapping shifts hurt trannies. A nice quick shift is what you want. A quick shift should actually prolong the life of the clutches IMO.

Well, call local machine shops and ask them if they can mill cylinder heads. Get your pricing info.
Find out how many thousandths you want taken off, dont take off the max because if you ever blow a head gasket you may need to mill them down a little more if they become warped.
It takes a couple hours to mill them down.
Thats pretty much it!
