IMO I think the main reason tuners are locking there tunes are because they don’t want someone going behind them making changes no matter how small. You have to realize how catastrophic an incorrect AF ratio could be. I personally wouldn’t want the liability and responsibility involved in tuning someone’s $30k truck. There's lots of small adjustments made in getting a tune right on.
