Default SLP Cam

Hey guys, any of you had this cam installed?

214/222 .559/.566 115° LSA 111° center line

http://www.slponline.com/view_product.asp?P=51011

I'm trading my truck and swap the radix to an '05. In my '03 I had the thunder racing (custom comp cams) 212/218 .557/.562 114°LSA and worked great with the radix but in the new truck I wanted to go with a bigger cam, so What do You guys think? Should I go bigger or smaller than this one.

In advance, thanks for the help.

Sup Gilberto. A lot of guys have been going with bigger cams and getting great resoults. I am sure your 5.3 will love that cam in there. Have you looked at the TR220 or even the TR224 on a 114 lsa?

Hey File, what's up, I've looked the TR220, but I'm looking for a split duration cam to match the radix, that 220 looks nice though, thanks for the reply.

I'd stick with the Comp cam, you're using now.

The valve events @ .05 come out very similiar.

Yours

ic39
eo45
ec-7

SLP
io-4
ic38
eo50
ec-8

Overlap is also, near identical @ .05 . Something like -13 to -12

Don't think you'd notice any change in performance. Just a guess though.

-btw, i guessed that your icl was 112 or + 2 advanced. If its + 4 the ve's would come out to something like:

io-4
ic39
eo47
ec-9
