Nick99Chevy:

I almost got those same rims. Centerlines kick ***! I actually went with the Stingrays cause they were just a few pounds lighter than yours. I don't think that it made that much difference, but I love the look, and they really show off the brakes, well, will show off the new Eradispeed brakes as soon as I get them on there!

My 20's weighed in at 65lbs, I have the American Racing Torque Thrusts rapped in 295/45/20. I believe they had an overall diameter of 28.5 or something like that, but anyway they maid my truck hell a slow. From a 15.39 to an incredible 16.02 best time in about the same weather (80 F).

my 22's made a huge difference, I went from a 265/70/16 to 305/40/22, 30" rolling diameter to 31.8 rolling diameter and added 30+ lbs. per wheel I don't have any data but I would surmise at least a .5 sec difference, more than enough to tell from seat of the pants. But they look SO DAMN COOL!!

Hey guys, glad i saw this thread, i went to buy some wheels this week. But i didn't get them ordered. I was told no one had the ones i wanted in stock. I want the American Racin g Torque Thrust ST's, but with the gray finish, not the chrome. I want them cause they look kinda classic with a new twist, being 20's and all. If they are gonna slow me down this much maybe i don't need them though. How much are you guys getting your Centerline's in 20's and 18's for. Cause i might have to rethink my choice. I really want my truck to look good, but i don't wanna handicap my ET's either, i mean they are already slow. My best is 15.3 with a RCSB 00 GMC. with a 4.8.

My Centerlines and 265/50/20 Toyos actually weigh LESS than may stock chrome steel wheels and 255/70/16 tires, 63 lbs v. 67. No track times though.
