Default Satisfaction of ASP pulleys?

I am thinking about buying the altenator and crack pulley for my Silverado? I was wondering how they increase low end power. And if there is a noticeable difference in power?

when i put my crank pulley on mine, i felt a lil diff, not huge but for 250$ worth the money id say.i wouldnt bother with the alt pulley unless you have a stick, well atleast thats what the guys at thunder racing told me. easy installation, gotta buy some new belts, i chose the goodyear gatorback, pretty much the best you can buy. thya cost about 45 for both at autozone.

They're expensive because the harmonic damper is built into the actual pulley. Some engines you can get away with just "piggy backing" an underdrive pulley on the original damper/pulley, but I don't thinkg you can do that with ours. Plus they know we'll pay it!

I wouldn't buy em. Rather get some fans or something. Which is what I did.

A few months back, someone dyno'd a 10 RWHP gain or so with the pulley, so I said what the hell and got one. It's been a great paper weight for the last few months (Waiting on cam install). She's going on the 6.0, and we'll see. Gonna be hard to compare anything here with the new motor, cam, and heads. Once my 3000 miles is up, I'll be on the dyno...

I agree there are better ways to spend $250 for the crank pully, $30 for the OD alt, + $70 to install it if you don't have the tools.

A tune of some sort is money well spent, besides you'll get a nice undercharge at idle with the ASP if you haven't thought of that either.

I got the Crank Pulley and the electric fans put on at the same time. I felt a good difference in the low-end and mid-range(seemed to rev a little faster also) and gained 16 rear-wheel horsepower on the dyno in 2nd gear.
