This feature would only apply to factory e-fans.

hey nightmare. i know you have the ls1fans and nelson harness and you like it alot. i'm probably heading into that direction when i get mine. my ? is that do you get different voltage drops with them kicking on and off. low, high, both, etc... i have the reg. alternator in mine with a sound system it fluctuates but not bad. i'm just wandering if i would have to go with 145 amp alt. with my set up. thanks... lance

It has small "surges" I guess you could say, if you are sitting at the light you will notice it more, but driving down the road you won't really notice it at all. If I have my radio on and my high watt headlights on the lights will dim a little when they kick on high but its not very noticable at all. I also have an Optima yellow top battery so that may help a little, but I have heard others say the same thing with stock battery.

If you go with the higher alt you would probably never even notice it at all.

This will all depend on how big of sound system you have. When my system is on and so are the fans, my lights really dim. I have ben trying to find an alt. off a escalade or a denalie they are rated higher

cool, i have RF 451S power amp that's around 500watts bridged pushing 2 W0's 10's in a truck box with an alpine deck. i think i might buy the 145 alt. just to be on the safe side. i found one for a decent price. thanks...
