I just bought an efan controller from Pep Boys or O'Reillys, can't remember. I think it was only like $25-30 and it has worked perfectly for almost a year now. Just make sure you get the one for the dual fan setup because it has a higher amp relay.

I've heard of a lot of people buying them off E-bay with no problems.
I have some I bought off E-bay waiting to be installed. They appear to be in good shape. They spin freely so the rotor and stators should be in good condition. I'll be getting my harness and tune from Allen next week and hopefully installing them next weekend.

Anytime Lance. As soon as I install them, I'll let you know how they work.

The most common numbers I've heard is around 15-17 rwhp. I did read in an article a few years ago that a engine with over 400 crank hp freed up about 47 crank hp. It's been awhile so my memory is a little fuzzy but I'm sure it's somewhere in that area.

Can you make the PCM turn the fans on/off with a handheld programer? I've been thinking about this mod but it seems kinda expensive....$360 or so for a tune, $100 for harness, and $100 or so for fans

I know that with the Predator you can only change the on/off temps. I believe it is the same for the Hypertech also.
