You shouldnt need springs but i recommend you checking your pushrod length.

You dont think i would need springs? Even upgrading to a set of LS6s? And you dont think that the length would be 7.400 still?

Your springs should be fine. You will need to check pushrods cause when you change the geometry it changes the length.

What does SLP recommend on the springs? The stockers are pretty much maxed out...well, stock. You'll be increasing the lift of the cam, I'd feel better running some yellow LS6's myself. Stock length pushrods should be fine, but you should check the swipe pattern on the top of the valve to make sure that the rockers are making the right contact.

budhayes3; do you know the mathematical equation to how it increases your cams lift , i kind of have an idea, correct me if iam wrong

lets say a .600 lift on a 1.7 rocker then to a 1.8 !
.600/1.7=0.35294117647
so
0.35294117647 X 1.8 =.63529411764 (.635)

That makes sense to me

so stock length pushrods should be ok, just maybe a set of hardened ones and a set of ls6 springs? how hard is it to adjust valve lash on these motors?
