I'm not sure what you're asking here?
Do you want to raise or lower your rev limiter? If a rev limiter is set up properly, it actually HELPS you to not blow up your engine. The stock PCM can handle this task just fine, no need for an aftermarket device from MSD or anybody else.

By chance do you have a valve body shift kit in place? first thing that came to mind is some shift kits can hold any gear to any rpm until you let off the gas. if your rev limiter was tuned to high and you have that sort of valve body setup then your gonna climb the rpms in one gear. OR... power shift that thing for a smokey burnout.

come to think about{ cams 98 silverado } when my tranny went out i did up grade the valve body and clutches and bands !! as u can see i dont play with it much !! to get ues to the set up !! but power shifting sounds awsome !! thanks !! spring is around the corner !! so track time is a must ...

yeah... I mean as long as the trans rear end can take the abuse why not. a lot of time people use that shift kit where it holds to any gear if your using a ratchet shifter. man the feeling of those shifters is awesome.
