What is the benefit of having an oil catch can?

 

and how much do they run?

 

that looks like an air water seperator to me. but thats what i have also.

 

what type of pcv are you using with that catch can?

 

Cool man...I'm curious to see if it'll keep the oil out of the hose from the seperator to the intake, hope it keeps working out for ya!

1slow01Z71: an oil catch can catches the oil (and moisture) that is unfortunately sucked into the intake and combustion chambers through the PVC system (a design flaw of the GENIII engines). This helps to keep carbon buildup to a minimum.
