I have no cats and no muffler. It's not that loud at all. In fact people think it sounds better like this than when I had no cats and a dynomax ultraflow.

 

Really??? wow mine is freakin LOUD. Not all the time but when you first take off or punch it from a roll DAMMMMMMM.

 

Just depends on your definition of loud I guess. I have the 6.0 and I am afraid it will be too loud for me. Jerry said he was going to put a muffler on his so that it would not be too loud when he is towing. Think his wife is giving him a hard time . I know mine does. LOL Maybe they think we are trying to drown them out

 

Exactly! A decible meter is the only real way to compare. If don't put a tailpipe on it, then it will be real loud. It will reverberate under the bed and it will actually amplify it. Turn downs are the best at amplifying the noise as it causes the sound waves to bounce off the pavement.

 

I have a little tail pipe with a turn down after the turbo. It is loud but I like it. The cops dont but i do
