I dont think that's right. 99-00 wont work, but 01 and up will. someone please confirm this

But what about the drive shaft? Do you have to modify it to work with the 4l80e?

I just found out this weekend that, I am going to purchase a short block instead of the complete eng. from the junk yard, so it looks like I will be able to sell my 4.8L engine, if your still interested let me know, btw, would you need the 4l60 trans too?
