G5X3 in a 5.3L

I've noticed that a lot of the f-body guys really enjoy this cam. What would it act like in a 5.3L. Would it be daily driveable? What are the specs of this cam?

I believe they never released the specs of that cam, but many speculate it being somewhere in the high 230/low 240 duration, and around .600 lift. I may be wrong though and thinking of a different cam.
I've heard a member say they lost some low end with a Comp 216/220 w/ no converter in a 325cube. Just imagine adding another 20 degrees of duration on top of that.
Also, it would more than likely be a bitch to tune.

If you don't want to lose low end in a truck, the consensus is to go with 206/212 at most. If you are willing to lose some low end and also buy a 2600-3000 stall, then 212/218 is manageable. If you want a cam in the 230's, you may as well count on getting a 3600 stall and living in the 4000-6500 range.

Might be to obig IMO. You would HAVE to have a 3800 or so stall to take advantage of that cam. I'd also recomend some good springs, retainers, and pushrods if you plan on spinning it up high enough to really use it. Ohh and injectors, running on the ragged edge with yoru stock injectors is asking for trouble at 6800rpm.
