I was wondering if anyone knew anything about california engine replacement laws....since the VHO is an extended cab would you NOT be able to swap an LQ9 into a RCSB because they are in a different vehicle class....OR is it alright because they are BOTH 1500's....I know that the VHO is built on torsion bars up front like the 4x4.....BUT its still a 1500....someone was telling me today that it isnt legal because they arrent in the same vihicle class....whats up with this is it true?

 

You can only go up to a 5.3 legally

They cant tell the difference between a 4.8,5.3,6.0 unless the smog shop is REAL sharp. Been there , smogged that

 

I SEE...ha ha...I guess I better stick with the 5.3 then.....OR just have the wife smog it with a low cut top on......fake *****....a million and one uses.....

 

Put the 6.0 in . The ***** work every time!
