Radix or Procharger

1 vote for the d1sc kit going in the classifieds right now... no doubt the radix is worthy out of the box......but if out of the box was the case....we'd all be driveing around some slow *** out of the box GM trucks

Just thought this would help you guys. We install pritty much all of them and what we have personally seen is that the Procharger will out produce the radix without a doubt on top end. But, it is like everyone else is saying. It is all in what you are going to use it for. If you are going to use it to tow and overall around town a Radix is probably the way to go.
Usually the guys with prochargers will run a stall to compensate the low end loss. However i do agree that the radix is the best all around kit. Between the fuel and computer tunning it is by far the best well put together kit on the market.

Black Blown you recommended the radix but you have an ATI. Are you not satisfied with the ati.

Apples to Oranges. If you were to overlay the power graphs of a radix VS a procharger on the same trucks they would look totally different. Power from the Radix will be much higher in the low-mid rpms. The procharger will have a steep increase and have more peak power than the radix, but it will be underpowered below that. The ATI kit has the potiential for more boost and has an upgradeable head unit.
For a street truck, Radix is the best choice. Daily driving, towing, or just plain messing around is great with the Radix. For a drag truck, a procharger with a big torque converter would do it. That doesn't mean the ATI can't be used on the street, just that the radix will deliver more power throughout the rpm band.
