Default RADIX injector question

Does the RADIX use the truck style injectors or the ones that the LS1's use?

I'm thinking about just replacing them with something bigger/better.

It uses the 8.1L Marine injectors. Why change em? you are not close to maxing them out. If there is a problem with them, we can see about Warranty.

They use truck style injectors,I'm looking to upgrade mine to a 57 lb injector or larger for my 408.I'm hoping to the longer injectors will work.

Brian .. I'm just digging for info right now. I plan on building a forged 402 or 408 at some point and time.

I'm gonna try and change the injectors out tomorrow if all goes well.

Whitt .. what's involved in swapping to the bigger ones?

You'll have to splice a different style (Stock Type) connector and use some spacers to raise the fuel rails up 3/8's or so. Pretty easy job..

I wouldn't recommend doing it with the 5.3 as the 42lb 'ers should be good for 500+ RWHP. But if you have the ability to do your own tuning you'll get some real practice dialing in the new injectors

Ripped 427, did you ever find a 4wd dyno? How much air do you think a Radix can flow?Enough for 600+rwhp I hope.

Never found a 4wd dyno. You'll have to have a pretty good set up to hit 600rwhp I dont think the Radix is capable of much more than 600rwhp with a A4 though. Loads of TQ and a bunch of HP down low... Great for a daily driver And you can just add a little NO2 for some additional Ponies

If you do this and want to get rid of those 42s, please let me know. Iam going to need some bigger ones to keep my dry shot with the heads/cam package I am thinking about.
