To you guys that are skeptical about the 6.0L making 500/500, I'm just going by what Allen has already done with many of them.
I too was curious how about the stock injectors, but he said it would be fine.
Just quoting him.
What some of you don't realize is, that he tests & tunes the LQ9 6.0L with many different head and cam combinations at Nickens Brothers Racing in Conroe, TX. He said he has also done this to a few other of his customers in San Antonio at his shop.
I'm not making it up, he has told me this himself in person when he has tuned my truck in person.
There are others that will vouch for his magic he can do.
Is this true..... I myself is not 100% sure, but why does he need to lie to me?
I don't know what else to say. That's just what was said to me.

Jim

I'll believe when i see it. Until then call me a disbeliever. Unless he means Base HP and RWHP. Not saying it cant be done but its not going to be a run of the mill budget setup.lol

Running that kind of HP on stock injectors is dangerous IMO.

He also said it would have good idle and still use the stock injectors. Would just have to add an external fuel pump.
There are ways to get it done the N/A way still. You would just need the right combination of parts and quality tuning.

BULL ****

Only way a 408 gets over 500, typically speaking) is with spray or in a M6 car. Even then, 530-550 is very good and not to common.

And on stock injectors ... nope, not happening.

Maybe FWHP, but not RWHP, and certainly not on stock injectors.

I'd have to see that on more than one dyno, the clamaint not being the operator and the operator not having anything to do with the claimant either.

What if they are secret lovers and then we wouldnt know about their relationship. We could still be duped.

Well **** ... I guess we'll never know then.

I always had my suspicions, but never wanted to bring them out of the closet.

I only brought it up after thinking about BlownChevys reluctance to come out of the closet and admit his love for Grippy.

You gotta watch out for those Socal guys...

Im guessing there is a misunderstanding of what Allen said and we are arguing for nuttin'.

I'm hoping so ... cause that's a somewhat bold and foolish statement. That is of course unless there's something that just recently came out, like a couple of hours ago, that I'm missing because I do consider myself fairly knowledgable, but not by ANYMEANS whatso ever to know it all.
