Quietest Exhaust...
What is the quietest muffler/catback out there for a 2006 Sierra 5.3L RCSB. I want something that is quiet as stock or a hair louder, but still flows enough cfm's. Even with LT's and ORY I want it to be as quiet as possible if that is even possible. I would prefer a catback for the ease of bolting it on, but if not which muffler would get me that result. Would magnaflow, jba be my best bet? Thanks guys.

X2, Exactly what you are looking for but very $$$. GMPP Touring is also a good candidate. I really liked the sound of the Hooker Aerochamber with my LT's ORY on my SS. Very deep burble, no drone, wicked at WOT. I DD it alot and it was far from overbearing. Get a 24" long Aerochamber welded in and I think you will get the sound and performance you are looking for without dropping alot of $$$...

I like the sound of both the Magnaflow and the GMPP Touring. Would Gibson be a candidate as well or do they not flow as well as magnaflow or other straight through mufflers like the GMPP systems?

Borla,Magnaflow, and Corsa are your best bet. It will be hard to keep it quiet with longtubes though. Swapping out your stock muffler for a large case magnaflow or something similar would probably be the best choice for keeping the noise down. I know what you mean about bolting on a catback for ease of install. The quality and clean looks are worth it for the price of a catback, at least for me.
