Quieter than stock? is that possible.

I do think the stock mufflers flow pretty good, has anyone ever made large gains with aftermaket mufflers, most do it just for the sound.

Then check out the Super Turbo's or PM 02Denali and he'll tell ya about his. I was parked right next to him and you could barely hear the lope in his cam they were so quiet. Again JMHO...Zed

I think you shoud get an xpipe cutoff the cats and weld in some dynomax bullets
After that just pick up an electrc cutout and look for larger muffler

Richard-CrazyCuter4.8 just put a Magnaflow dual in dual out with X-pipes and it quited his down alot but it sounds really tunes now! You remeber how loud his was? He still has no cats and it sound alot better! You ought to go check it out this week! Oh and by the way you can have an exhasut you know! There is a certain sound level that is legal! I would call the DPS and ask them what it is! Dont let that little bitch punk your truck out man seriously!

Check out the Flo-Pro HD muffler. They offer a dual in single out. The muffler guy I have talked to highly recommends this muffler. I plan to install this week. I'll let you know.

Just put a stock ss muffler on and then add a set of electric cutouts.

How well does the silverado SS mufflers flow? Would my bullets in conjunction with this muffler make it louder or quieter?

What's the quietest performance muffler? Looks like I'll be going dual in/single out. Are any magnaflows dual 2.5" in/3-3.5" out and as quiet or quieter than stock? Also, how would they work with the bullets before the muffler?

RICHARD,

GO WOTH THE MAGNAFLOW! I just installed a dual in & dual out with an internal x-pipe. It made all the difference in the world, it is about 95% quiter than the flows, no drone, sounds awesome!
