Default Quick questions about these Mufflers--come in

Due to the dilema with the POS neighbor that I have, looks like if I want to avoid tickets, I'm gonna have to change my exhaust up a little.

How well does the silverado SS mufflers flow? Would my bullets in conjunction with this muffler make it louder or quieter?

What's the quietest performance muffler? Looks like I'll be going dual in/single out. Are any magnaflows dual 2.5" in/3-3.5" out and as quiet or quieter than stock? Also, how would they work with the bullets before the muffler?

Check out magnaflow.com, see if they have something your looking for, I had a single 3" in/out that was very quiet, It was a big body muffler, the bigger the muffler the quieter.

I'd vote Magnaflow if not then DynoMax. Mines quiet to me untill you get on it also. I let my wife drive it before and while she drove it down the street and out onto the hiway I couldn't believe how quiet it was. But that was with HER driving it with me it's a different story entirely. I have an old couple that stays across from me and they haven't said anything yet even when I put it on at night and was reving the **** out of it as I was filming at 1 in the morning. I have the Ultra-Flo 17220 I beleive. You might want to check them out. Summit has them for 6x dollars.JMHO...Zed

Might want to look into the Dynomax Super Turbo's too. I think 02Denali's running them and he says he can hear his tires over his exhaust cruising down the hiway...Zed

Thanks for the responses, but I'm needing something that is really quiet at start-up and idle. If possible something as quiet as stock .

I've looked up some models on magnaflow's website http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...ne=main&id=301
and was wondering about these:

-#12587 (Dual 2.5" in/One 3.5" out)
-#12276 (Buy two for my dual exhaust set-up)

Please, any info is appreciated on any Quiet high-flow mufflers. Keep 'um coming!

My Hooker's are quiet at idle and low rpm, but when I step on it, they are loud. Might be right up your alley.

Did you ever PM me ?

i have the dual 3" in/single 4" out sitting in my shop that i took off for the sts and i loved the sound that aft cat setup gave me...think its called the wide open series and you will love the tone ...it screams authority when you get on it yet a nice deep tone at low rpms...

I still say let your neighboor burn in hell and keep it the way it is. If it was after 10, I could see it, but it wasn't, so he should have to deal with it.
