Quick question regarding 02 senor placement..

Edit: try moving the sensor first and then worry about the below if it doesn't clear it up. I would also take your new sensor and warranty swap it out for another new one since it's free.


That's a low voltage code, in reference to what the PCM is seeing in voltage on the signal return wire.

In other words it thinks it's lean at all times.

Did it have the same codes with the previous sensor?
Have you watched the signal in the data stream to see what the 02 is doing, or is not doing?
I would ohm the wiring from the 02 sensor to the PCM
I would also unplug the PCM and plug it in a few times and inspect for any water or corrosion while the PCM is unplugged. Sometimes I'lll see poor data in a data stream and unplug the PCM a few times which causes the pins to scrape and clean each other

That's a few things to start with. I'd also move the sensor. Exhaust shop should be able to weld in a new bung really cheap and give you a plug for the old bung.

Thread an old spark plug into the bung. Ain't get cheaper than that 😂

so i guess the fuzz to the problem was the way the sensor was sitting lol.... no more codes... been 3 days already.. 350 miles driven and nada!!! 🤞
