Gas mileage aside, it is easy to install a carburetor on a TBI equipped 350 should you decide to do so. Basically, just install a carbureted intake manifold, carburetor, an older style large cap HEI distributor and a fuel pressure regulator to cut down the pressure that the factory electric fuel pump put out to a level that whatever carburetor you install will need or you will lift the needle(s) of the seat and flood the engine.

I had a 94 blazer with 230k with 32's and got almost 18mpg on highway.. With a couple mods. As far as putting a carb & getting better mpg. It would take some fine tuning but it could be done. Is it worth the trouble I doubt it.

People say the TBI is **** and its jsut worth putting the carb on it. I have 33s on mine and gas mileage is horrible. im not lifted though.
