With LS1 Edit can you...
-raise rev limiter
-raise/lower shift points
-raise top speed limiter
-recalibrate speedometer/odometer for gear ratios (like going from 3.42 to 4.10)
I think it can do all of these, I just want to check. I might be able to get a laptop for real cheap if I do I want to get LS1 Edit.

If you can find someone close to you with a licsense left on thier cable that would be cheaper. Draw back to that is you have to get the cable from them to tune.

LS1Edit does have a little learning curve to it, you need a laptop, and you need a daig tool, ease or autotap are fine.
The mailing list is basically ****, a lot of new comers asking the same old questions, which could be avoided if those guys would get on a forum, archives.
YOu'll need to learn what all the tables and adjustments do, good luck finding a straight answer. you;ll get sarcasm or no answer at all.
the good think is you can do anything you want as far as adjustments and if they don't work, simply start over.
there are no good manuals or sites that just staight up tell you how to do something, i'm trying to get mine going, workingprogress and i did his and it's been a learning exper.
you'll definitely benefit from edit, it blows all other out of the water, predator, hpp3, diablo.
later,
allen

modify anything (almost), makes a huge difference (if used correctly) and is fun to jack with. it definately will take awhile to get the hang of, it's pretty intense.
