Default Questions on 44 injectors

Allen from Nelson e-mailed me about 44lb injectors if I ever want to go with more than 5psi on my STS kit. He gave me a price which seems right but how much do these injectors cost? I believe they are Delhpi parts so if that helps. And the other thing is what if anything will the bigger injectors do to the driveability of the truck and will it affect cruising mileage?(who cares about full throttle ) Finally, will I need to re-tune the truck after the injectors are installed?

About $45 each from Racetronix. They won't effect your mileage unless you have a heavy foot Yes you will have to retune for the injectors.

Jerry's your man...and so will Nelson's tune. All phases of driving levels will be tuned to perfection by Allen and will only be affected by your right foot.
God you GM guys are so lucky! I can't stand the level of tuning available for GM and the crappy Daimler/Chrysler box. I am chasing a lean condition on my Dodge STS kit that may never be properly solved...

I guess I'm going to wait on the injectors for a couple months, I need to get the Eaton Posi first so I actually have some traction for this baby (peg leg now ) My STS kit showed up at work yesterday and I'm going to pick it up at lunch this afternoon!!! Been on vacation since tuesday, had it shipped to work to cut down on interrogation from wife!!
I hope some day I can provide as good of information as all the tech experts here. Thanks again, very much appreciated.

Yea you need to fix the peg leg before you start adding boost. Unless you like smokey burnouts.
