Question Question on return, returnless fuel system

Does the 03's have a return or no return fuel system, also what about the 05's. If they are different is there anyhing else that is also. Do they use the same fuel pump, can I use a returnless system the on one set up for return.. Thanks JOHN

Returnless came out in 04 everything before is return, everything 04 and after is returnless, unless it is flex fuel, then it is return. And they all use a different fuel pump.

ok I have an 03, the motor I picked up is an 05, I also have the 05 computer with it. So with my truck being an 03 how can i get around running the 05 engine an comp with it being different.. That means the computer will be set different for that year and run the pump differently. correct thanks JOHN

Put you truck manifold on it. This will solve the problem

So the pumps are the same on the 2 systems. I figured that the comp for the return system worked the fuel pump.. anyway thanks

All of the pumps are full on all of the time. No PCM control. Only the tunes will differ. Stick with your return-style setup.

Yep, You will need to get a new PCM because i am almost certian that the PCM off the 05 cannot be used on anything under 05. Sorry for not informing you of this on my last post.
