Im happy with Edit. It has served its purpose to me. Yeah, it isnt fun to learn to use it. But once you do its pretty much a breeze. The truck you first program with Edit marries to that VIN. But you can revert back to stock settings. You cant use it with any other vehicle other than what is programmed into the cable.

You can buy VIN numbers for your cable. Once you use an empty VIN number, it's used, no getting it back. You can have up to 4 numbers per cable.

If you are having second thoughts, another good alternative it to get a custom tune. That way you do not have to use a scan tool and edit. Nelson and others on the forum can help you there. The important variable of a custom tune is someone who will upgrade you for free when you make changes to you set up. Otherwise it gets very costly and you would be better to get Edit yourself.

BTW, I do know where Highland is.

i was planning on getting a nelson tune but i fugured i would look at maybe doing the tuning myself. but i think i might get a nelson it would be less of a hastle. but who know i got to get some money saved first. i am still going to keep looking over edit.
