Couldn't you use like a window switch operator, but in reverse. Say run the A/C wire to where if it reads around 1200 or more RPM that the A/C trigger is disabled, then it reverts to temp only to trigger the high speed.

Do the 05's use a speed sense signal at all? Maybe once the vehicle reaches a certain speed the condenser fan turns off? Or does it just cycle on and off with the a/c compressor?

Ok, I'm kinda confused on this one. If the fans are wired to the ac, what is you aren't using the ac; I'm assuming that the other wires to the pcm make them come on at a certain temp? I 've been thinking about electric fans but its one thing I don't know too much about.

it would be good if you could wire in the window switch to the speed of the truck. if your going 20 or above, that should be enough.
also, what about the 05 fans? How are they operated?

Stroker, the a/c condenser needs air moving across it to dissapate the heat it takes out of the passenger compartment. So the fans need to come on when the radiator needs more cooling and when the a/c compressor comes on...otherwise you a/c will blow hot air.
I found the other controller information...it is a little pricy but looks to be the best out there. Look it up at www.dccontrol.com .
I don't have one of these yet, but I have burnt up 2 flexalite controllers and this or the nelson is my next option.

I know the 05 Truck PCMs have 2 fan outputs sot the fans can be controlled independantly, like the F bodies. vs my 03 PCM which just has one output. I'll bet there is some consideration for speed when turning on the fan for AC in the 05 PCM.

I've thought of some speed sensing to. Putting in series with the AC circuit for the fan. Just haven't found anything that senses movement or speed. Hense the temperature I mentioned above.
