I meant why I shouldn't remove it. I'm not going to, but I'm curious as to why you say not to.

If you wanted to turn the code off in HPT then I would say plug it off and be done with it. Not sure what your local SMOG requirements are, but that is a violation.

They're not too strict here with the whole smog thing, but a good inspector might notice a modified evap system when the do the 5sec underhood inspection.

Speaking of evap system, I just got an engine light and the code was evap circuit low or something, think my solenoid is gone?
