qtp 3" electric cut out and turndown

what should i be lookin for performance gains from this, hopefully it will get me that 1-2 tenths i need to be in the 13's haha. ran a 14.2 at 99.75 last night, my 60ft of 2.33 is killin me.

not sure how it helps, but a while back before i lowered my truck i had the same setup, truck sounded good, then with the flip of a switch scared people lol. never brought it to the track with the cutout though, im a dummy

I'm thinking it will be good for a tenth or two...did you already purchase the QTP? If so, keep your eye on it, most of the guys here who have used the QTP's have had problems with the screws for the blade loosening up and the shaft for the blade breaking. A few guys have had good luck though. I personally bought a DMH after hearing about the problems that guys have had with their QTP's.

yeah that big cam is gonna sound bad*** with an open cut out. every body says they run at least a tenth faster depending on how restrictive their exhaust system was to begin with. I will be installing a cutout soon too. also, being boosted and with the 4.56's are u spinning real bad off the line?

QTP user here, no problems after a two or three years of repeated use. Consistently I run 2/10ths faster with it open. Your 60' sucks worse than my 4.8 ext cab with 3.42s and open diff.With your mph you should already be running 13s.

yeah im spinning off the line and at the 1-2 shift and i chirp 3rd at 85mph. i dont have dr's yet and only have 2300-2500 stall. last night was 85-90 degrees with 60--70% humidity too though.

Me too, I have seen and heard about a bunch of them falling apart. I think I just got lucky with mine.
