Default Pulley change

Any installation notes, or instructions I should be aware of before changing pullies on my Radix. What kind of puller do I need?

2 or 3 jaw puller with the tip that fits the shaft. Try leaving the belt on to break the nut loose. DO Not use impact at any time. I had to use a belt wrench to hold the pulley to get the nut off. Slide the new pulley on and use the nut to pull it on. My aftermarket pulley had a nut machined in so could hold it with a wrench. Think I torqued it to 50 lb/ft. and didn't use any loctite. No problems after about 4 months now.

Thanks. I'm sure this won't be the only time I'm doing a pulley swap!

To start off, I'm going from the stock 3.4, to a 3.2 just to see how much it gains. Just starting!

I'm at 3.2, I would see about 10 PSI at shifts on cold days. After the cam install it dropped to about 7PSI. I will soon be installing another.

You will notice the gain!

I thought when you creeped into the 9-10 psi range you had to build the bottom end of the engine or it was on borrowed time? I am flirting with putting on a 3.2, which I already have in my garage, but am not sure if that will be pushing it.

Can't wait to get it on, then. I want to get some more track times with the current set-up first, though.
