problems with patriot heads

You could try installing an 8mm stud with some Loctite on it in the leaky hole. It's a great, permanent way of sealing the leak and not removing the head.

that sound like a great idea Richard. Doesn't ARP have a header stud kit for these heads?

Update, Update please!!! I did this exact same thing today!!! I have been freaking out pissing and moaning all day b/c I thought I had to scrap these brand new heads!! Im planning on getting some new heads eventually, but I still have other, more pressing things that need to be done first. How are the heads holding up? What exactly did you use?? I had to drill out a blt and retap and I guess I came a little too close. So whats going on with it now?
