Some of the early 99's don't work with the standard issue Predator. Johan at Diablo has files that will work but you will have to send the unit back to have the new file installed.

I have a 99'GMC with the Predator. When I first installed the program the SES light kept coming on after about 10 miles of driving. So I e-mailed the tech boys at Diablo and Johan e-mailed me a new tune to download to the predator. All you need is a seriel cable and a 12volt adapter. Johan informed me that some 99's were having the same problem. He sent directions how to do it. No problems with the new tune. It's even better than the stock tune. You can really feel it in the seat of your pants.I love mine.
