Well .. I got my EDIT cable back today .. put the flash in that removes all of the TQM. Took it for a test drive once the roads dried up a bit and noticed that 2nd slips when it shifts now. My gues is the band is toast or well on it's way from my mishap with the TransGo install that can be read about HERE.
I'm fixing to either replace the band and drum or get a rebuild kit for the whole damn tranny. Just doing the band and drum would be the cheapest thing to do right now and probably hold me off until I get a hell of a tranny.
Man ... this pisses me off. TransGo should put in the directions that those spacers are for old worn out tranny's.

Just got off the phone with PATC and talked to them about some minor upgrade parts for the tranny. So far here's the list they have me set up with.
Pro Series band .......................... $ 28
Stock type drum ........................ $100
Blue plate special 3/4 clutch pack ...$ 69
Super duper 29 element sprag ........$ 45
Beast Reaction shell .....................$ 56
Total coming to ...........................$298
Is there anything I am missing for a reasonable mild build up. I'm not gonna go with hardened shafts or 5 pinion planetaries yet. I'm still unemployed and am having to do this on a budget. I'm thinking though, if I have the shift kit easy enough, it should be ok to drop the blower on after this. These parts should at the very best keep it from slipping.
Maybe a pump .. and a the holy grail of 4L60e manual for $25 is a must.

That's the thing ... I'm unemployed and can't afford to drop a whole lot on this right now. I would love to be able to keep it under $500. I figure you would want more than that for your tranny. If I'm off based, PM me by all means!

I have ordered what whitt has and what you are considering ordering. But, I have the 4L65E, so a little different. I say if you're going to get it pulled out and disected already, why not get a few more parts in there to help further down the road? I spent a little over $700, but I already have 5 pinion planetaries and #44.
This is what I ordered for a 4L65E from the same website. #6, 11x, 14-4L65, 38, 41, 45, and 45P.
