porting stock manifold

Default porting stock manifold
is it worth porting out the original manifold on my 06 crew cab z71.. or is there any hp gain in doing this????

From what I hear they flow as well as shorties, I say go for it if money is tight. There is a thread on here where somebody port&polished and jet hot coated them and they looked awsome.
