HAHA really slow truck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> But seriously I have been wondering how to do this as well. I did the bumpstop grind and the coolant bypass, but how do you port and polish? <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />

if you really wanna go through the trouble of doing it you could probably get it done with a dremel, but eastwood automotive (on the right) sells porting tools if you wanted to go that route. honestly i would just pay the 100 bucks for someone else to do it and know i wont be jb welding my TB back together after i hog it out too much (someone did that last year, i think it was jason 98 ta, cant remember for sure though)

I did the EGR too. That isn't what I mean though. The bumpstop grind is where you grind the throttle bumpstop to where the throttle body will open to about 90 degrees. The way it comes it opens about 85 degrees. (just a wild guess) Use a voltmeter and grind until the throttle position sensor shows 4.67 volts when the throttle is open to the bumpstop. If you go to 4.70 or more it will set a trouble code. I will try to post a pic.

This thread was edited due to how far off topic it got. If you want to see how stupid it got go to the Truck Chat section and look it up there. A little fun never hurt anyone, but this got way off topic and this info can be useful to some.
HIHO, here is pics of mine , not before and after, but two different T/B's. I got a good deal on another T/B, had it ported and kept my original.
