Default Ported throttle body question

I'm getting a porter throttlebody but can't decide if I should go with a spiral ported from rev Xtreme or just a regular hand ported one. The guys at rev Xtreme said the spiral will make more power but my tuner said he dosnt see how it would work any better. What do u guys think?

But getting it spiral ported is like having the Tornado action without having to buy the Tornado!

That seems to be the consensus from what I've read here...improved throttle response...

I've had both.

Save your money and stay stock. Ported TB's unless they are done perfectly can be more trouble than they are worth, things like sticking throttle blades, high idle rpms, etc.

The only thing I noticed positively was due to the bump stop mod. That I would recommend. On the stock TB, when you push the pedal to 90% and then go all the way down it doesn't feel like there's any difference. With the bump stop ground so that the Tb can go open 100% you can actually feel the difference in that last 10% in the pedal. It's hard to describe.
