Default Ported heads, grind rocker (intake side) bolts or buy shorter ones???

Well, doing a little long awaited maintenance on the truck... First up was sealing up the rocker bolts... after doing some research on tech, alot of guys buy shorter bolts or grind the stockers.... Since it really only applies to the 8 intake bolts, should i just grind the stockers or buy the edelbrock 8-pack shorter ones for $40?

this is what i am trying to prevent, these aren't my heads but a pic of what it should look like in there....

Grinding the stockers would be cheapest while using the Edelbrocks would be cleanest IMO...I'd probably go with the Edelbrocks if you don't mind spending the dough

Well the description of the edelbrocks are studs.... I dunno if they will work with stock heads/rockers... Very few posts on tech and even less on here...

As stated in your other thread buy the Edelbrocks...I am using Scorpion Rockers with them, but Scorpions reuse stock bolts so the Edelbrocks should work with oe rockers...

I thought the same thing...but pulled the trigger anyway..and got lucky, I was going to cut mine as well but did not want to mess with filing 8 diferent bolts to repair the threads...
