I like OEM's!! Most will tell you same. Others switch to aftermarket for price and color mostly

I have Taylor 409 race wires.. They were a couple bucks more than the MSD's and I hadent seen anyone using them so figured I would give it a try.. They are 10.4mm instead of 8mm, so a little better insulated. *shrugs*

I've got the NGK TR55 plugs and Taylor 8mm wires. The wires seemed to make the idle smoother in the old stock 5.3...

Forgot to mention that: I felt like my truck idled better with the new wires as well.. May have been just because they are new wires and new plugs(TR6's, im a nitrous user), but I did notice it too.

PS: As for choosing which ones you need: Go to summitracing.com and use their filter search to get the right part #, then order from whoever you want, or from Summit.

When it comes to plugs, I hear the term "cooler plugs". What does this mean??
