I run MSD Superconductors; they've been on truck for 7 years now. I've heard the GM Performance wires are pretty good also. Or, like someone said, get some stockers and put some heat boots on them.

I like the msd wires, cause you can bend them a bit to go around headers, firewalls, drip trays, ect. I didnt feel any diff from stock either, but the flexability and ruggedness of the msd are worth the money.

I was running JBA's on my truck with no problems with touching. They run about $60. I also used to use Taylors on my camaro with no problems.

A while back someone mentioned to use the LS2 plug wires because they had a 90deg bend at the plug. They were easier to keep away from the headers. I have used the stock wires with header socks. Other than no7 this has helped, on no7 I added some header wrap by the wire and no problems since. (Old style dynomax/obx headers)

I've had the MSD's on my truck for a least 7 years now and they've held up great, I've removed them numerous times and the boots are still holding up to being twisted and pulled. The stockers work for most, but have been proven to have considerably more resistance than the MSD's. I did keep my stockers as emergency backups though, as there was nothing wrong with them when I removed them, and they are a quality wire.

Just bought some Taylors. Nice wires. Only reason I bought aftermarket is because number 7 wire broke last time I changed plugs.
