I would really like to see someone do a good comparison of the different popular supercharger cams. LPE seems to be getting very good reviews from everyone, I may just have to swap into one of them. It's a much larger split than the 216/224 that I am currently running and I bet it idles closer to stock with the higher LSA. I haven't seen many people running Vinci cams - I always assumed it was because their name wasn't out there much, but maybe it's because there are better cams out there for this app.

I helped set one up that was a Silverado SS with a Radix, 2.8" pulley, SVO injectors, and a 224º/227º .571"/.577" on a 114+4. That truck even with the stock exhaust on there pulled strong from off idle to well past 6k. That cam worked out very well and I'd be more than happy to use one again in that setup.

The GT2-3 cam worked awesome in the 5.3. I was trapping 105+ mph with an 80e behind it.

I may just buy another GT2-3 cam. I also PM'ed CHarris who went from the cheaTR cam something like a 215/230 55x lift to the GT2-3 cam and said there was no loss in power. He said the idle quality was great as well.

I guess it is a magic stick of some kind.. lol

Wow, thats what I was thinking. Using the same characteristics of the GT2-3, just bigger. Any ET or horsepower numbers/improvements to go with this?

Changing the cam and pulley to keep the boost level up there was a .7 gain in the quarter. It would come out spinning pretty hard (AWD SSS) and pull right to the shift which was around 6300 or so.
