Question Pin the Crank or Not?

Was wondering if I really need to pin my crankshaft end and pulley during the Radix install?
Sounds a bit difficult from what I can remember.
Who sells that kit anyways?

I didn't pin mine at first, but after about 8-10k miles I clogged the cat on the pass. side and had to pull the engine. My point is that when I went to take the crank bolt out it was finger tight...it hadn't scored the crank, but it was on it's way. I would pin it if I were you. You can buy a hardened pin from the auto parts store for less than a buck, drill it and tap it in. If you're goin Radix I would do it, or for any SC for that matter.

But there is someone that sells a kit that comes with the pins, guide, drill bit, bolt and washers.
I remember seeing it posted here, but I can't seem to find it.

I would do it , and use the kit from Manga Charger. They are around 90 bucks but it comes with EVERYTHING you need to do it right the first time.

Thanks for the advice. I thought a member here was selling the kit for quite a bit cheaper though.
It's been a while since I read about it though.
If I can't find who sells them, I will just buy from Magnacharger.

Thanks.
