go with the melling high pressure oil pump they are about 130 on summit, i have heard that the ls2 is a double roll timing chain and if you dont change the timing chain cover to the ls2 one it will leak so just do reseach on it before you buy one. i have reused my ft and rear cover gaskets muti times and never had a leak just make sure that you dab some rtv on the oil pan were the cover meet the it. try to buy the tri-metal header gaskets you can reuse them. go the ls1 how to and get the torque specs, i had stripped some by over torquing with a 1/4 drive so be careful

Just a quick update!

This showed up during the week!
220/220 581 581 116 LSA
Springs, retainers, pushrods

Items to come
Arp Bolts
Ported LS6 pump
Cam install kit(gaskets, bolts, seals)
TB stall

As you can see its a very mild setup but it should be fun to drive and a stockish idle!

What other trucks had the vette style DBW, and what years? Did any other 6.0 4L80E trucks have the vette style DBW?
