Default Picked up an LQ9! Need some help

Picked up an 02 lq9 out of an escalade that was totalled with 80k miles
Here is a pic

The plans for the engine are not that big, it is a daily driver and I don't want to have problems with it when needed the most. The intake was cracked, one if the exhaust manifold bolts is broken, one of the valve covers is cracked and the crank pulley is damaged. I took off the valve covers and was surprised to see how clean it was. Whatever this engine needs will be taken off my 4.8 and swapped over!

Here is a list that I will be replacing while the engine is out, please feel free to add anything that I'm forgetting

Intake gaskets
Ex. manifold gaskets
Water pump gaskets
F+R Crank seals
F+R Cover gaskets
Oil pump(LS6)
Timing chain(LS2)
Oil pick up tube seal
Oil pan gasket
ARP connecting rod bolts
Crank bolt
Valve cover gaskets

Performance wise a very mild cam and springs with a TB converter.(Not sure yet). Anyone recommend a cam??!!

I'll be getting most of the parts next week and hopefully install the engine in a couple of weeks

FLT Tranny to come soon too!

FWIW, i've never replaced the exhaust manifold gaskets on my 5.3 when swapping headers...i've reused them 3 times with 110k miles on them currently and have no issues with leaking. I've also read that replacing the rear crank seal is a toss up. Some have luck with it and some do not. Take it as a warning!

When I installed my first set of shorties on the truck they were leaking like a ****, at first I thought I had damaged them but when I took them out they looked fine plus they are like $10 with my dealer pricing!
