Atta boy Randy! I am ready to see how the stock 4.8 fairs aginst my heavily moddes 5.3 once you get it back together.

 

I have one just sitting around that I never put on my motor...I'd be willing to sell it to ya on the cheap if you want it...say, $40 shipped? It's brand new, never installed.

scream how do you like your cam? how is the idle? do you have a sound clip?

 

It idles fine! I really almost wish that I had gone a little larger, but I'm afriad that I would have sacrificed too much torque.

I don't have any sound clips...sorry. It's really kind mild sounding to me.

Hope to start on it maybe this weekend. May be a few weeks til complete. Gotta wait on my cam to part with it's current home and be available.
The build will be done by a friend of mine with some help from me. Gonna take it back to Futral to have it dynoed and tuned again.

Whats with the LS6 vally pan?? whats the benifit of runnnig one??
