Default Radix lower intake..

Does anyone know or tried to contact Magnacharger to see if they will sell just the lower intake and intercooler/heat exchanger? I have been thinking about tring this with the Kenne Bell Lightning upgrade and now with the talk of the new Whipple upgrade it has really got me curious. I have looked on Manguson's page at the bolt patterns of the radix and regular M112 and they seem to be the same. Also does anyone know if the bolt pattern of the 03+ Cobra is the same as the 01+ Lightnings?

Here is the Lysholm 3300ax blower also known as a Whipple if you haven't seen this page before. It has bolt patterns/dimensions.

i resarched this a while back. there is a company that makes a lower intake like you want for lsx style mortors i believe in aus. but i dont remember if it has a iner cooler and the damn thing was $$$$. i wanted to do this but i think i am going to stay away from s/c and go turbo cause there is no belt to slip.

hopefully some one will do it and get great results.

Well, I have compared all the tech drawings of the mp112/Radix, Blowzilla 2300 and 3300AX and it seems like there would be quite a bit of custom fabrication to get the 3300AX to work. It also looks like KB has done their own case modifications to the 2300 blower to make it fit on the Lightning intercoolers. The discharge port on the twin screw compressors is different from the port on the Eaton roots. The discharge occupies the entire underside to of 112 where the screw compessors have much smaller port to the front of the bottom side therefore having to have some sort of adapter plentum to mount to the heatexchanger. I am still looking into this more. I have a friend that just did the Blowzilla upgrade on his L and I am going to look at it and see how it is attached to the stock intercooler.

I was thinking a 5/8" aluminum plate with the 3300AX discharge port cut out with holes drilled and tapped to mount the 3300AX to the Radix intake, then some blending of the opening to improve flow. Then a 5/8" aluminum plate to match the Radix intake tube to the intake port of the 3300AX.Then add a bypass valve into the bend, port the intake tube for a larger throttlebody and find a 90mm throttlebody.
