i can say that i'm happy with my ceramic coated pacesetter.
they are 3.5 years old and they look just as new as when i put them on.
didn't have any fitment issues what so ever. the price was good too @ $300

Yup, I paid $150 for mine and they are holding up great.

Big Favor: Can you measure the lengths of the primary tubes? I'm interested in how the lengths compare between the two brands and which one has tubes that are closest to being equal length.
Thanks

Unfortunately I have the OBX's all boxed up. I could tell you just from eye balling it that the Pacesetters have longer primaries and appear to be of more equal length.

i'll tell you that the pacesetter ceramic coating does NOT hold up well in areas where there is snow and salt. i've had mine on for 2 winters so far and the headers are rusting pretty bad, from the bottom up. my collectors look horrible. i should take a picture to show just how bad.

yeah, I'm just going to have to live with that.

I don't think the headers will rust all the way through though. Might need to get them recoated in a couple of years

No problem, you're a pro at removing and re-installing headers by now

I can have the old exhaust off and headers/Y pipe on in about 1.5 hours, without dropping the crossmember.

You going to rid off obx? to sell? Is Pacematter and OBX are same size 2.5?

Got the Pacesetters on. Holy ****, the sound thru the cutout is ******* amazing. It's louder and "more raw" than the OBX headers (the resonators on the OBX really smooth out the sound IMO). These pacesetters make it sound like a muscle car. Unfortunately I fucked up on the install and scratched the hell out of my ceramic coating on the steering wheel bolt I currently have a lot of leaks because I haven't sealed anything yet. Y pipe is just on freely. I have accuseal clamps coming via UPS. Overall the OBX are nicer headers. I prefer the Y pipe on the Pacesetters. Believe it or not slip flit is better to me. Less complicated. I'm also mad because the LS1 MSD wires DON'T FIT. DAMMIT.
