alright guys the Pacesetter LT 70-2265 says it's for the 4.6 & the 5.3....now obviousley knowing the 4.8 & 5.3 are essentially the same motor on the outside...i would assume that these would fit the 4.8 correct? thanks guys

those are just the painted ones, they will get to looking crappy prob before this NY winter is over. theres stainless ones on ebay for 320shipped i believe, just the old dynatech style with the hump, id get those before painted ones imo. just a thought..

I had pacesetters. Got rid of them because their shitty armor coat lasted one mn winter and the slip fit style joints suck *****. Never could get rid of the exhaust leaks. I went to those cheapo stainless ebay ones. Its amazing how such remarkably good quality headers could be so cheap. They fit nice, they bolt together on the headers, and they have built in resonators that get rid of the rasp i had with the pacesetters. But to answer your question, yes those will fit a 4.8, 5.3, or a 6.0.

Three sets, two trucks and a WS6. For the price, I love them. This last set, I had three bolt flanges welded on. Smartest thing I have ever done...almost.

yeah i can get them from a place up here S&K speed shop they want like $650 for the ceramic & ORY texas speed looks like it's like $490 i assume + ship & i think speed engineering was about the same...
let me hear what you guys think about not just the pacesetters but some other headers tryin to figure out which ones sound the best...so far i love the way the pacesetters sound w/ magnaflows & as nice as the LPP's look i just don't think they sound as good...anyone have any other opinions on some headers? all advice is welcomed and appreciated thanks!

imo longtubes are longtubes unless theres a radical difference between primary size. sound will depend on whats attached after them like cats, tubing size, mufflers etc.. also unless your listening to these in person, all the diff types and qualities of cameras taking it can mess with sound if your getting down to being that picky, just my 2cents..
