Angry Pacesetter lt guys i need your help

OK need to buy my third set of plug wires in the last month. Called pacesetter and place I ordered headers from and they say I don't need any special plug wires. I now have aftermarket. Heat sleeves on boots and wires are still gettin burnt through. Has anyone else had this problem or a fix ?

Try going with MSD wires with bendable boots to keep them away from the headers. I love mine

ive put long tubes on 2 out of my 3 trucks and never had a problem with burning the plug wires. Like Brian (2BFAST) said go with a set of wires with bendable boots or ones that are at an angle, also make sure they arent TOO long and the slack is causing the boots to touch the primaries. I had new stock wires on my 5.3L with long tubes and Taylor wires on my 6.0L now and no problems at all

Neither my stockers or the aftermarket ones I have ever touched the headers. Maybe try some of the plug wire heat wrap.

Me too. The boot touches a couple of places but doesn't burn.
