The boots barely touch my pacesetters but ive never had a problem with it. I went with LS2 wires since they bend 90 degrees right after the boot

I like those wires Atomic. They are stock LS2 or aftermarket?

I forgot the part # of my wires, but you can call msd tech support directly. They are very helpful. You need a kit with LS coil connectors on one side, straight boots on the other and a 12" min overall length.

I had this issue a while back and my solution wasn't new wires. We found protective "sock" and they're a lot less expensive than the wires. Fiberglass socks cover up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit and have a few colors to chose from. http://cableorganizer.com/insultherm-spark/

Ac delco from autozone I think. I went in and asked for trailblazer SS plug wires. About $40.
